1 1/2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |

1 | teaspoon | salt | |

1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |

1 | cup | halved fresh cranberries | |

1 | cup | chopped nuts | |
|
Grease bottom only of 9x5 inch loaf pan. In large bowl, combine sugar, orange peel, water, orange juice, oil and egg; blend well. Add flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; stir just until moistened. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack to cool completely. Store in refrigerator.
